Animal House Wildlife Welfare Birds of Prey

Animal House Wildlife Welfare is a registered charity based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We specialise in caring for injured or abandoned wildlife. Our main focus is on birds of prey.

Join us at our local events in the spring and summer to hold a few of our birds, You can take some photos of these fantastic birds and get to know them! You can also help us by sponsoring one.

Tom and Daisy are two of our resident birds. Due to being bred in captivity, these two Tawny owls will be with us for the rest of their lives. They are just two of the growing number of birds of prey that Animal House Wildlife Welfare have rescued and still care for. Would you like to help us by sponsoring one of our birds? Specialising in caring for birds of prey since we were founded in 1995, we have a vast knowledge of the needs of all the birds of prey we rescue. As part of our fundraising activities we attend various shows around the Yorkshire area. We can also provide educational visits to local schools and other organisations. Would you like the children in your school to know more about owls, or do you think the members of your Art Club would like the challenge of painting a magnificent bird of prey?  As a charity we rely on donations and fund raising activities to care for our birds. Would you like to help us? Contact Trevor on 07807 038 553.

We really enjoy showing our birds to the public,  teaching them new things about the birds we have in our care and telling them about our show birds. We also do birthday party bookings and visit nursing homes.
